Ferrofluidic Seal Flange Mount Options
China Advanced Ceramic offers standard Flange Mount Ferrofluidic vacuum rotary seals in several configuration options. For specific mounting details about the part that you are interested in, please refer to the Spec Control Drawing on the product page of the part number that you are interested in.
Ferro Flange
The Ferro Flange has become a standard mount for rough vacuum and midrange vacuum applications, such as vacuum coating, laboratory, and front-end semiconductor processing. It provides a Viton O-ring and clearance holes for mounting screws.
ConFlat Flange
The ConFlat flange is an industry standard flange generally used in high- and ultra-high vacuum systems, in applications such as critical coating, UHV semiconductor processes, and advanced research and other leakage-critical equipment. It provides standard geometry including a knife edge for use with a metal gasket (not included), and clearance holes for mounting screws.
ISO Flange
The ISO flange is an industry standard flange intended for flange-to-flange (piping), or flange-equipment installations. Individual external clamps (not included) in contact with the flange compress the gasket in its centering ring (not included), to seal between the feedthrough and the mating component.
KF Flange
The KF Flange is an industry standard flange for use where quick installation/removal, and compact geometry are desired. It provides standard geometry including a pilot for the sealing gasket (not included), and tapered edge for the external clamp (also not included).
Mini Flange
The mini flange is very compact, intended for bulkhead applications in which an external clamp (not included) in contact with the flange compresses the the provided Viton O-ring, to seal between the feedthrough and the larger equipment.
